Day Eight

Today marks the first day of my second week and I feel very excited because I feel like I have another opportunity to maximize on my strengths and improve on my weaknesses. For instance, drinking enough water for whatever reason can be difficult for me. I drink on average 4-5 cups of water which puts me at 32-40 oz per day. That is not enough water for a small dog much less a human who is seeking to unload 30lbs, so I have to get that hurdle in check. I spent a few days thinking about it and I thought perhaps I will try a water intake app to help me with this issue. The app waterlogged (don't worry there are many water intake apps to choose from) can prompt you to drink water with phone alerts, and keep track of your water intake with an easy tap. I can't for sure say this will work for me but I will give it a try. Another hurdle last week was putting all my food in a fitness pal app. I can do it sometimes but getting consistent with this app to log all that I eat is really crucial to my success so I will give it a try again this week. The other stuff like working out and eating went pretty well the first week. I would be happy if I could implement the two new tasks of logging for food and water this week.

Today's workout will be chest and triceps


  • Push ups 3x12
  • Barbell bench press 3x12
  • Flat Bench Cable Flys 3x12
  • Overhead triceps dumbbell extensions 3x12
  • Triceps Pushdowns 3x12


Food 

  • Breakfast 1 egg steak slices 1 piece of toast
  • Protein shake
  • Chicken butternut squash spinach
  • Cottage cheese 
  • Protein and Veggie
