Day One

It was my intention to start my fitness journey last Monday which was the first of November but because my week was super busy my start day is today which is the 5th of November. To explain why I am 5 days late let me first say that I am a new mom which is also the reason I am in this predicament of starting a weight loss journey. As a new mom everything is sudden, fast paced and at times it can be down right chaotic. Starting a diet seems daunting without a baby in tow but my husband says he will support me in whatever way I need so I decided to go for it.  Secondly I have been having a hard time deciphering which work out plan I want to follow. Pre-baby I followed a few other fitness programs that worked so I wasn't sure if the Live Fit trainer would be the one I would use this time. Now that I know what plan I will follow I wanted to document my progress for anyone who could benefit along with use it as my motivation to keep going. It can be really easy to quit a work out plan in the beginning, but when you have to blog about your results and progress it is less likely I will give up.

Today when I went to the gym I started with Day 1 of Live Fit Trainer. I did do 10 minutes of cardio as a warm up.

3 rounds of push ups 3 sets of 12
Dumbbell Bench press 3 sets of 12 using 12.5lbs weights
Flat Bench Cable Fly's 3 sets of 10 using 10lbs weights
Over head Triceps' Dumbbell Extensions 3x12 using 12.5 weight
Triceps Pulldown using 30lbs 3x12

After my work out I felt like I worked hard.

Unfortunately I didn't really follow any meal plan today. Partly because I had no idea I was going to start this plan today. I did however go out and purchase all the food I would need to meal prep for the week so I will be ready for both tomorrow and the week. My number one goal was to work out and when my opportunity came to get 1 hour to work out I just took it and then declared this was day one.
