Spent the day just enjoying family time. In some ways I wished I had worked out today but it didn't work out for me on this Saturday. I decided to make this day a free day as in a cheat day so I had a bottle of bear and skipped my workout.
My thoughts on cheat days might be different than some. I am not really into eating lots of sweets or slamming down a whole pizza, but more so look at a cheat day as a day to not keep track. Once you eat healthy believe it or not you come to enjoy it. I find that the foods I love are healthier and after eating healthy for a while I have found that when you eat something bad you don't feel great afterwards. When I have a cheat day I like to make it worth my while for the most part. I want to make sure if I indulge its on something that I really want or crave. Eating a Jack in the box burger or a taco bell burrito would be a total waste. I love a good beer, some special buttery sauce or anything savory, or a really wonderful exquisite desert and for this I am happy to count the day as a cheat day!
