Day Seventeen

As weeks pass, and I become more familiar with the workout routine I find myself yearning to workout each and everyday. Even on my days off I want to go and just do something in the gym, so I am super excited on this Monday (on a day that I normally wouldn't get to go because of my evening worship has been changed this week to another day) I get to work out! I love this because I find when I get to work out a few days in a row it builds the momentum and makes me feel like I earned a day off vs.having the feeling like I have to take the day off because of the circumstance.
The workouts on the 12 week live fit trainer do gradually get longer in length from what things were in the first few weeks. She adds at least 3-4 more exercises to the muscle groups you work which makes sense to me because early on it felt really easy. Initially I could get into the gym and do every exercise on the list in 30 min or less. This week I am finding myself at the gym for a minimum of 45 minutes and we haven't added cardio yet. I can't remember if I have gone into detail about the cardio factor but the program calls to exclude cardio for the first 30 days. The logic behind that is she wants you to become comfortable with weight training first. She states that if you focus on building a muscle base which burns fat, when you get to phase two things will just burn all the faster.
