Today
is the start of my workweek which could be in some ways an obstacle to any
fitness regime. I guess while I am at it I might as well say with full disclosure you will not come up short with reasons and hurdles that could impede your progress when stepping into work. I say that because at home I have
more control over the foods I come in contact with, the times I eat, and in
some cases what I eat. In most corporate environments you never really know
what you will be faced with when you walk through those doors. You could be greeted by a very nice warm donut, or bakery treat with buttery crevices. Heck even too much fruit or a veggie tray with mountains of ranch could do you in, so you might as
well change your mindset now and be the office Jillian Michael's and have the discipline of a Navy Seal.
Mondays are a day that I typically won’t work out due to the
long day I have. It is the day that I am up until 10 pm at minimum so waking up
at my normal time of 4:30 am just wont work. I feel OK with this because
1) I have already worked out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and could use a rest
day so today is as good as any. 2) I can focus on other goals I am working to
implement such as starting to use fitness pal and working to drink more water. I did bring my food that I prepped from home although I realized I didn't bring enough food so I had to go out for a salad. Ultimately I did my best with the day and have tomorrow to get better at this process.
Breakfast two eggs
Snack one cheese stick Mozzarella
Lunch Caesar salad
Snack protein shake
Dinner Chicken rice and broccoli
